The heads of companies and chairmen of condominiums are creating a territory of cleanliness and tidiness.

They have made this unprecedented for the city decision on their own initiative, and came to seek support to the mayor of Almaly region Marat Prinbekov. Almaly region is the centre of the city where Almaty dwellers and guests love to wander. Therefore, it is necessary to apply efforts and energy to transform the region into the most exemplary. They are certain that the residents will totally support them.

It is worth to mention that here they make the cleaning well before a city’s event. So called local Saturday cleanings make gather a lot of volunteer street cleaners who work by heart. The park near Almaty heavy engineering plant is already clean from garbage, so are partially Auezov, Rozybakiev, Gagarin streets and the bed of the Esentay river.

-The residents of our region should attend the Saturday cleaning on September 27 like a holiday, so we clean and improve problem zones of the region in advance, - Marat Prinbekov said. – Every year more and more people come out to clean their yards and gardens. In this regard an active propaganda is being carried out by institute of house managers which is being implemented in our region. I am certain that this Saturday the young and the old will work for the honor of their region.

Marat Prinbekov also stated: cleanliness is a constant term, and this rule will be followed in the region without exceptions. There is no free plot of ground, we simply need to oblige their owners to keep the adjacent territory clean and in technically sound condition with indicators of street name and number of houses.

Just to remind you that on September 27 there will be the whole city’s Saturday cleaning day in Almaty. It will be dedicated to the Day of the city. It is planned that condominiums, employees of budget organizations and establishments as well as all willing to come will attend the Saturday cleaning. The regional administrations will provide with tools and equipment, garbage bags and special vehicles for holding the Saturday cleaning. There will be buffets organized in places of mass appearance of people.

A special commission has been created from the representatives of social organizations to define the winner among the regions which will be awarded with a special prize.
