The influence of his mother on the child is special. Since a mother Olzhas Altynhan Sydykova is a teacher of Kazakh language and literature she was not far from the art. Singing, reading eloquently a poem and epics for her was a source of enrichment.
Olzhas did not waste a single step mother and also grew up loving music and literature. This hard work was not in vain.

In six years when he went to kindergarten “Barlyқ Arasan” he was involved in a serious competition with the song “Aғalarym”. Many were delighted with the efforts of the child. The enthusiastic glances and words of praise were impressive support for him and spurred him.

As a second klass pupil Olzhas participated in the competition “Let's remember Aset” which took place in the regional Philharmony with a song of Bekbolat Tleukhanov “My nation” and he also sang a song of Asset Beyseuov “Maraldym” and was awarded a prize and letters of appreciation on behalf of the jury. All this is to say that a little boy started to make steps in the world of art.

Recently the Kazakh radio held a radio festival “Balaқay”. Olzhas trained   prepared to read to participate in it and to expressively read12 zhyrs. His work has not gone in vain. The spectators remembered his performance of excerpts from Bukhar Zhyrau, Maiki bi, Assan Kaigy as well as dastans Alpamys, Kabanbai, Karasaj, Manas. And out of 12 participants Olzhas was recognized the best and won the first prize and became a laureate.
 
-Let them not endanger the success of  my son. He loves songs and poems. He wants to contribute to the propagation of our national art. Now he is preparing for the upcoming event, said Sadykova.

Olzhas Bekenuly Kuanbaev these days is the sixth grade pupil school named after Al-Farabi Alamybaқ village. On the stage Olzhas in his young voice will performs the poetry Abay Mukagali, Mukhtar Shakhanov as well as other poets. He gets excellent marks at school. Sure his efforts will surprise many more.
