From September 8 to September 12, 2009 the Republic of Kazakhstan was visited by an official delegation headed by Mr. Ma Wenpu, the Vice-president of Chinese people’s Association for Peace and Disarmament, and deputy chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress of PRC.
The objective of the visit was to reinforce friendship and peace between people of PRC and Kazakhstan, search for effective forms of cooperation and partners in development of good neighbor relations between the countries.

The program of the visit included a meeting with senator, the chairman of the Committee on international affairs and security of the Senate of Kazakhstan, депутатами of Parliament’s Majilis of Kazakhstan from Kazakhstan’s peoples’ Assembly, as well as with Almaty city administration, scientific and research institutes representatives who deal with international research issues under governmental organizations, representatives of Kazakh-Chinese enterprises and academics.
